Der pneumatisch angetriebene Handmarkierer MV5 M50 eignet sich durch seine Mobilität perfekt zur flexiblen Markierung schwerer, unbeweglicher und voluminöser Werkstücke direkt vor Ort. Der vertikale Dünnschichttrockner besteht aus einem zylindrischen, vertikal angeordneten Körper mit Heizmantel und einem innenliegenden Rotor. Das eintretende Nassgut wird von den Pendelelementen in einer dünnen Schicht auf die Heizwand aufgetragen und sehr effektiv durchmischt. Aus der Produktschicht verdampfen die flüchtigen Bestandteile kontinuierlich mit hohen Verdampfungsraten. Die Pendelklappen haben einen minimalen Spalt, um eine Verschmutzung der Heizfläche durch das Produkt zu verhindern, aber sie sind niemals in Kontakt mit der beheizten Wand. Das Produkt tritt am Kopf in den Trockner ein. Die Verdampfung beginnt nach dem Erhitzen auf den Siedepunkt. In der Slurryzone werden erste Feststoffe gebildet, und mit fortschreitender Verdampfung der flüchtigen Bestandteile und fortgesetztem Scheren durch die Pendelelemente zerfällt das Material zu Pulver.
